Applying escape room principles within an educational setting is a familiar process to us at TimeQuest. Over the last six years schools, colleges and specialist educational units have used the physical games at our Paddock Wood headquarters as a way to engage, reward and challenge their students. We have witnessed first-hand the dynamic impact that that a carefully thought out escape room experience can have upon a group and the individual. The principles are fun, engaging but also offer a new approach to tackling otherwise difficult topics. Timequest is introducing a brand new range of products and services specifically aimed at supporting educators to integrate escape game principles into their learning environments. Led by Dr Kim Humphrey and drawing upon 20+ years of educational experience, our goal is simply to combine our escape room industry experience with the national curriculum as a way to bring the fun of escape rooms into the classroom.
